Linda Carole Smith, age 70, of Alma passed away at the Bacon County Hospital on June 24, 2020 after an extended illness. She was born in Coffee County on September 7, 1949 to the late Cleo Spivey and Irene Bryant Spivey.Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, John Harvey Jewell and a sister Debra Kaye Deen.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Jerry F. Smith of Alma, two sons, Michael Pate Smith of Alma and Jeremy Smith and wife Ashley of Mooresville, NC., two daughters, Melissa Dunn and husband Brad of Tifton and Frances Newbern and husband John of Lakeland, two brothers, Jerry Spivey and Terry Spivey and wife Geri of Douglas, one sister Lisa Davis of Douglas, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at her residence 115 Dove Drive Alma, Ga. 31510 on Sunday, June 28 ^th at 2:00 PM with Sister Pat Sellers officiating.
