Linda Faye Metts Tucker, age 68, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Friday, October 14th at North Florida Community Hospice in Jacksonville after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County, daughter of the late Homer Metts and Lessie Boatright Metts and preceded in death by five brothers, Thomas, Eugene "Snook", Ronnie, Don and Jerry Metts and a sister, Thetis Bryson. Faye was a member of the Nazarene Church of God of Jacksonville, Florida.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Royce Tucker, two children, Keith Tucker and Wendy Learn, one grandson, Brandon Learn all of Jacksonville, FL.,
four sisters, Eteen Herndon of Baxley, Jean Clark of Bristol, Faye Howell (Tommy) of Blackshear and twin sister Sue Smith (John) of Bristol and a lifetime friend, Jeanne Bennett of Jacksonville, FL.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 18th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. George Malone and Rev. Calvin Courson officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery on Hwy 203. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Anthony Smith, Tommy Metts, Rick Leonard, Bobby Bryson, Mikeal Miles, Robbie Williams, Coy Davis, Allen Tucker, Jr., Gary Herndon, Timmy Smith, Chad Lee, Derrick Rowland and Bobby Metts. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
