Logan Elzie Tomberlin, age 23, of Alma died suddenly early Wednesday morning September 16th, 2015. He was hay farmer, attended New Union Baptist Church and Ten Mile Baptist Church. Logan was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Elzie and Lillian Tomberlin and maternal grandmother Frankie Barber.

Survivors include his parents Everett and Lisa Barber Tomberlin of Alma, maternal grandfather Earnest Barber of Alma, a brother Shon Tomberlin (Nicole) of Alma, three sisters Sha Duque (Padrick), Lynn Griffin (David), Leah Cothren (Art) all of Alma, girl friend Courtney Carter of Alma, five nieces and nephews Taylor and Jase Tomberlin, Cole and James Griffin and Nate Cothren all of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25th at 11:00 AM at New Union Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Thrift, Rev. R B Gaskin and Rev. Glenn Bohannon officiating. Interment will be in Barber Cemetery behind New Union Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Caleb Miller, Matthew Taylor, Ridge Barber, Blake Varnedore, Sam Yeomans and Reece Pierce. Logan's 2010 classmates will serve as honorary escort along with all others in attendance.
