Lois Davis, age 94, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at her home, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Alma, GA on February 06, 1931, to the late Clifford Cothern and Stella Taylor Cothern. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Davis; son, Charles Edward Davis; brothers, Linton and Edward Cothern; sisters, Lucy Hewitt of Alma and Lula Phillips of Clinton, TN.

She retired from the food service industry after many years.

She is survived by her son, Troy Davis (Wanda) of McRae; daughter, Sara Jane Ursrey of Yuma, AZ; two grandchildren, Andrew Ursrey (Melissa) of Rock Springs, GA and Zachary Ursrey of Yuma, AZ; sister, Louise Taylor of Alma.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 11 AM with Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers include Andrew Ursrey, Michael Taylor, Jessie Crews, Danny Waters, Don Futch, and Albert Wildes.

All in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.
