Lois Gerrell Faircloth, age 77, of Bickley passed away Thursday, January 31st at South Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick after a short illness. She was a native of Ware County and daughter of the late Henry W. Turner and Clyde Wolf Turner. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Neal A. Faircloth, two brothers, Wiley & Elbert Lee Turner and a sister, Catherine Jones. She retired from King Edward Cigar after thirty years and was a member Salem Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, James Faircloth (Linda) of Alma, one daughter, Pamela Leggett (Kenneth) of Kingsland, Ga, two brothers, Billy Turner of Alma and Wilbert Turner of Jacksonville, Fl, four sisters, Virginia Lewis of Baxley, Wanda Worth of Hazlehurst, Jeanette Anderson of Jesup and Carolyn Waldroup of Douglas, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 3rd at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. John Thomas and Rev. Ricardo Arreola officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 PM Saturday evening.
Active pallbearers will be; Carroll & Mack Deen, Victor & Scott Worth, Steve Turner and Rodney Waldroup. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
