Lois V. Turner, age 88, of Alma passed away on August 30, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Born in Bacon County on July 4, 1933 to Richard Skinner, Sr. and Emma Tucker Skinner.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, David Turner; sister, Opal Reeds and brother, Richard Skinner, Jr. Survivors include four sons, Jerry Miller of Patterson, Wilbert Miller of Hazlehurst, Junior Turner (Lola) of Alma and Jimmy Turner (Ashley) of Dixie Union; two sisters, Nell Streat of Nicholls and Lena Mae Mercer of Axon; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Randy Cox officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
