Lonnie "Nick" Moore, age 70, of Nicholls passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a native of Coffee County, son of the late Lonnie Babe Moore and preceded in death by his sister Patricia Ann Moore Walker. Nick was a member of Salem Congregational Methodist Church. The church camp was also named after him Camp Nicky.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Moss Jacobs of Nicholls, nephews, Mark Alexander of Fort Worth, TX., Cannon Walker of Lake City, FL. and James Johnson of Nicholls, nieces, Christie Walker of Pearson, GA., and Brooke Johnson Howard of Waycross, several other aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews; also special friends, Tim and Cindy Johnson of Nicholls.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8th at 2:00 PM at Salem Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Martin, Sr. and Rev. John Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Anthony Jackson, Shannon Jackson, Jason Jackson, Michael Smith, James Johnson and Sebastian Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of Salem Church.
