Lonnie Bill Pritchett, age 73, of Alma passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville, Georgia after a short illness. He was born in Jeff Davis County on December 6, 1943 to the late B. W. Pritchett and Rena Mae Ricketson Pritchett besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Taylor Pritchett, a son, Bronnie Pritchett and two brothers, Sam Pritchett and Jimmy Pritchett. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.

Survivors include three sons, Calvin Mitchell Pritchett, Lonnie Shane Pritchett (Jenny), Rusty Shawn Pritchett (Rhonda) all of Alma, one daughter, Nicole O'cull of Bellview, FL., brother, LaDon Pritchett of Jacksonville, FL., four sisters, Geneva Hutchinson of Callahan, FL., Juanelle McEachin and Jo Ann Sharpe of Hazlehurst, GA. Linda Nix of Baxley, GA.; also 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 17 ^th at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Officer Mack Newsome, Officer David Rowell, Officer Mike Joyner, Officer Donnie White, Officer Edward Davis and Sgt. Jamie Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be; Staff of Georgia Dept. of Corrections and Facility of Bacon Probation/Detention Center.
