Rev. Lowell Colquitt Lee, age 80, of Nicholls went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 29th, 2016 at the Bacon County hospital after a short illness. He was son of the late Keller Walter Lee and Nevada Sweat Lee and preceded in death by a brother Linwood Lee and a sister Uldine Benton. Lowell was retired from CSX Railroad a farmer, a retired minister and a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Patsy Hardrick Lee, a son Peter Marshall Lee,
A daughter, Debra Lee Sears (Bobby Hue) and three grandchildren Hanna and Haven Sears and Ashley Lee all of Nicholls.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5th at 11:00 AM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Delk, Rev. Mike Lee, Rev. Monroe Gill, Rev. Ronnie Foster and Jerald Douglas and Rev. Earnest Dyal officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; David Geraldo, Ben Dyal, Ethan Benton, Mikey and Jason Lee, Adam Garcia, Jeff Lee and Scot Wilcox. Honorary pallbearers will be; Dr. Clay Carter, Dr. Glenn Moore and all others in attendance.
