Lue Jane Ivey, age 74, of Alma passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida after a short illness. She was born in Pembroke, Georgia on July 26, 1943 to the late Melvin Lamar Ivey and Winnie Lee Napier Ivey; besides her parents, three brothers, Gerald Ivey, Melvin Lamar Ivey, Jr. and Jack Ivey and a sister, Jeanette Arnold preceded her in death. She was employed with Milliken for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Beth Carter (Tracy), two brothers, Dewayne Ivey and Johnny Ivey (Carolyn) all of Alma, two grandchildren, Kayla Whitley (Will) and Courtney Whitley (Dustin) of Alma and four great-grandchildren, Kayden Griffin, Emma Whitley, Jaxon Kicklighter and Ashton Kicklighter of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 22 ^nd at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Will Kicklighter, Dustin Everett, Charles McCrea, Lonnie Mercer, John Medders and Bucky Buckner.  All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
