Lydia Carol Miles, age 90, of Alma passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Pierce County on October 1, 1929 to the late Lonnie Henderson and Pauline Meeks Henderson; besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edsel Miles, son Joseph Miles, sisters Elna Faye Eiserman and Katherine Taylor Williams. She was a member of Wesley Chapel Church.

Survivors include four children John Miles (Pam), James Miles of Alma, Janet Buchanan (Doug) of Jefferson, GA. and Judy Rowland of Alma, GA., 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and special caretakers, Erin Andrews, Sue Smith, Sandra Peacock and Pam Starling.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 30 ^th at 12:00 PM at Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Carver and Rev. Jimmy Miles officiating.

Active pallbearers will be; Joseph Todd Miles, Miles and Matthew Buchanan, Dylan and Drake Miles and Slade Pirtle.
