Mable Smith, age 88 of Mershon passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home. She was a native of Bacon County and lived most of her life in the Coffee Community. Her parents, Seward Bennett and Ethel Pittman Bennett, her husbands, Gordon Edenfield, Joe Lott, Winslow Dixon and Willie (Bill) Smith, infant daughter, Kathy Lott, brother, Edward "Buster" Bennett, sister, Lorene Lee and stepson, Charlie Dixon preceded her in death. She was a lifelong member of Antioch Baptist Church in Mershon and loved her family, yard work and her flowers.

Survivors include two children, Gary Edenfield of Sarasota, FL. and Marshall Lott of Wyoming, DE., one sister, Sybil Edgerton of Jacksonville, FL., two grandchildren, Darren Edenfield of Mershon and Marsha Antes Ernie of Landenberg, PA., three great-grandchildren, Ashley "Nikki" Gill (Adam) of Patterson ,Sydney and Charlotte Antes of Landenberg, PA.; also two step-grandchildren, Robert Yandell of Sarasota, FL. and Eric Bennett (Ashley) of Cumming, GA.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 21 ^st at 11:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Mullis and Rev. Glenn Rainey officiating.
