Marcell Wildes, age 78, of Alma passed away at Twin Oaks Nursing Home September 16, 2023 after an extended illness.  He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late Liston Wilbur Wildes and Claudia Mae Walker Wildes. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Andrews Wildes; brothers, Chester Wildes, Lester Wildes and Bryant Wildes and sister, Vernie Taylor.

Survivors include two sons, Trampous Wildes and Chad Wildes of Alma, GA; three grandchildren, Brittany Lewis (Ottis), Cody Wildes (Layla Carter) and Gaino Wildes (Audrey Dykes); three great-grandchildren, James and Anabella Lewis and Athena Wildes; two brothers, Franklin Wildes (Rose) of Jupiter, FL. and T. L. "Thomas" Wildes (Rose) of Jacksonville, FL and one sister, Oweda Taylor of Alma, GA.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Wolf Pit Cemetery with Rev. T. F. Yawn officiating. The family will be receiving friends Thursday at the cemetery from 10:30 AM until service time.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Twin Oaks Nursing Home and Donna Franken.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
