Obituary
Marcus Bell, age 62, of Alma passed away suddenly at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. He was a native of Jeff Davis County and son of the late Mercury Bell. Marcus served in the US Air Force for 12 years.
Survivors include his mother Bernice Underwood Bell of Nahunta, GA., his wife of 40 years, Crispina Bell of Alma, two daughters, Marie Bell of Atlanta, GA. and Jessica Bell of Alma, a grandson, Christopher Bell of Alma, one brother, Frank Jenkins of Patterson, GA. and three sisters, Bernistine Wilkerson, and Janette Lewis both of Claxton and Gloria Smith of Alma.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 2nd at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Welch officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
