Marcus Franklin Stringer, age 50, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was born on January 15, 1967 in Jacksonville, Florida. His paternal grandparents, Douglas Noel Stringer and Bessie Lee Stringer preceded him in death.

Survivors include his father Franklin "Frank" Stringer (Carol) of Tallahassee, FL., his mother, Rhonda Gaskins Little of Alma, two children, Eddie Stringer (Ciera) and Brooke Stringer of Tallahassee, FL.,two step children, Shane Row and Robin Wellman of Tallahassee, FL.one sister, Misty Lee Downs of Middleburg, FL., maternal grandparents, Marcus and Ruth Gaskins of Alma and two grandchildren, Marcus Eddie Lee Stringer and Dallas Faith Stringer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23rd at 2:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. R. B. Gaskins and Rev. Sam Quick officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Beulah Baptist from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Wesley and Jay Mattox, Curtis Caryton, Denny Lee, Gary Allen, Austin Downs, Jimmy Stringer and Jason Allbaugh. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
