Margaret Boatright, age 82, of Alma passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Altamaha Healthcare Center after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Bacon County and daughter of the late Clarence Lee "C. L." Waters and Mildred Coley Waters.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Boatright and brother, Carol Lee Waters. She was a member of Wesley Chapel "Wolf Pit" Church.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Boatright (Vickie) of Alma and Mike Boatright (Lisa) of Brunswick; seven grandchildren, Ashley Matthies (Jeff), Abby Bennett (Jay), Alexis Boatright (Ron Johnson), Shawn Boatright (Chelsea), Brittany Lewis (Dustin) Brandon Boatright (Aimee) and Hunter Tayor; six great-grandchildren, Hannah Millie Claire, Noah, Austin, Graham and Jaxon; brother, Billy Payne Waters (Diane) of Greensboro, GA.; sisters, Gwenell Lightsey (Gene), Mary Lightsey (Ray) of Jesup, Betty Wilson (Billy) of Savannah and Debra Medders (Neil) of Alma and sister-in law, Catherine Waters of Nicholls.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. T. F. Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Randy & Stevie Altman, Marty Medders, Shawn Boatright, Brandon Boatright and Hunter Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Altamaha Healthcare Jesup Staff, Hospice of South Georgia/ Jesup and all others in attendance.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
