Margaret Elaine Bragg, age 53, of Albany, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 2nd at Albany Community Hospice after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County but had lived in Albany for many years. Margaret was the daughter of the late Simon Wasdin and preceded in death by a brother, Mark Wasdin. Margaret was employed at Darton State College for 28 years. She was the Chief Information Officer at the time of her retirement.

Survivors include her mother, Ruby Carnes Wasdin of Alma, her husband, Don Lamar Bragg of Albany, two sons, Mark Daniel Holmes of Commerce, Ga and Braxton Lamar Bragg of Marietta, Ga, two brothers, Michael Wasdin of Fitzgerald, Ga and Bruce Wasdin of Houston, TX, two sisters, Sarah Sloan of Buford, GA and Christine Mills of Birmingham, AL and two grandchildren.

A family visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 6th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bruce Wayne Wasdin officiating. Immediately following visitation the family will hold a private graveside service.
