Maria P. Gonzalez, age 81, passed away June 24, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born November 15, 1943, in CD Del Maiz SLP, Mexico to the late Mariano Vazquez Zuniga and Tereza Barron Duque. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers and sister, Ancleto Barron, Teodora Barron, and Pedro Barron

She is survived by her husband, Santiago Gonzalez; six sons, Tony, Miguel, Hector, Vicente, Santiago, and Gerardo Gonzalez; three daughters, Maria Elena, Martha Gonzalez, and Bertha Gonzalez; three sons-in law and six daughters-in-law; two brothers, Agustin Vazquez Barron and Ramon Vazquez Barron; two sisters, Maria Vazquez Barron and Tiburcia Vazquez Barron; thirty-four grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church at 12 PM with Father Rafael Estrada and Father Anthony Mandau officiating. The family will be receiving friends Friday, June 27, 2025, from 5-9 PM at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Montebello mp de Del Maiz SLP at a later date.
