Marion Curtis Taylor Jr., July 30 ^th 1959 – October 12 ^th , 2018, age 59 of Alma.He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Curtis Taylor, Sr. and Margret Clara Oldenburg Taylor Christmas and a brother, John Dilbert Taylor. Curtis was a Member and a Trustee of the Alma United Methodist Church, The Alma Exchange Club and Eagle Scout #452 where he received his Eagle Scout on 04/12/1976. He was President of The Great American Steak Cook off of Bacon County, served in the United States Air Force and was a dedicated employee of D.L. Lee and Sons for 34 years.

Curtis was a loving father, husband and friend. Survived by his wife of 23 years, Kristy Taylor, daughter, Caitlin Taylor of Alma, son, Anthony Taylor of West Green Ga., brother, Jason Christmas of Blackshear, Ga., three grandchildren, Lizzie, Austin and Mason Taylor all of West Green, several nieces and nephews and beloved dog, Ellie Mae.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 15 ^th at 2:00 PM at the Alma United Methodist Church with Rev. Buddy Whatley officiating and eulogies will be given by: David Lee and Pat Lott.  Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery.The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 9 PM.

Lee employees, Pat Lott and Staff, Jodie Sapp and Staff of Jodie's Seafood, Dolfus Welch, Glover and Maurice Scott, Ken and Joan Veal, Bacon County Class of 1977,Eagle Scout Troop #452 (Members), Bo Noles, Mark Cohen, Sam Edgar, Danny McDonald, Mike and Joe Overstreet, Steve Carter, Andy Hutto, Glen Sasser, Lawton Johnson, Doug Jarrad, Gerald Carter, Jerome Taylor, David Ellis, Mike Thompson,Jerry Crosby, Bill Tanner, Charlie Taylor, Timmy Taylor, Harold Thomas, Ben Johnson and Jeff Cauley, Troop Leaders: Jack Hutto Scout Master, Joe Overstreet Sr. Assistant Scout Master and Dr. Jack Shepard, Assistant Scout Master and all others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
