Marion Yvonne Waters, age 83, of Blackshear passed away January 26, 2022 suddenly at her residence. Born in Bacon County on January 8, 1939 to Namon J. Mullis and Mary Magdaline Curl Mullis.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Larry C. Waters, Jr. and brother Ronnie Mullis. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Dr. Larry C. Waters of Blackshear; daughter, Laurie Beam (Terry) of Alabama; two grandchildren, Payton Marie Beam and Mary Jo Brennen Beam of Alabama; brother, Jeffery Mullis (Joey) of Alma and sister-in-law, Shelba Jean Bowen.

A memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in the Crosby Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Loren Bryant officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
