Marlease Rigdon, age 85, of Alma passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born in Four Oaks, North Carolina on June 9, 1933 to Tom Barbour and Lydia Barbour. Her husband, Merlion M. Rigdon, son, Mark Rigdon, three brothers, William, Thomas and Charles Barbour, two sisters, Eloise Johnson and Maggie Barbour, two son-in-laws, Jeff Lynn Kinlaw and Ashley Matthews and a grandson, Ashley Matthews. She was a member of the Alma United Methodist Church and the Pink Ladies Auxillary.

Survivors include two daughters Ramona Kinlaw of Alma and Judy Faye Matthews of Waycross, 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31 ^st at 11:00 AM at the Alma United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Hartsfield officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Jake Kinlaw, Jeff Kinlaw and Jimmy Matthews. Honorary pallbearers will be; Alma United Methodist Choir Members and the Pink Ladies Auxillary.
