Martha Rebecca Anderson, age 69, of Nicholls, passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 7thafter an extended illness. Martha was born in Coffee County and preceded in death by her parents Buster Hester and Lera Mixon Deen. Her husband Elisha Anderson Jr., a son Timothy Elisha Anderson, brothers, Freeman Hester, Richard Hester, Billy Hester and Johnny Hester and sister Patricia Arnold also preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters Tanya Anderson of Douglas and Melissa Harper (Ramon) of Nicholls, brothers Jimmy Hester (Patricia) of Douglas and Bobby Hester of Douglas, 6 grandchildren and 12 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 11AM, at Anderson Family Cemetery in Nicholls with Rev. Tim Mock officiating. Active pallbearers include Bradley Anderson, Kris Davis, Buddy Hartley, Jeffery Greer, Michael Altman, and Chad Tanner. Honorary escort include employees of Elixir Industries. The family will be receiving friends at her residence at 2141 Shell Bell rd. Tuesday and Wednesday from noon until 7PM each day.
