Marty “Keith” Martin, age 62, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on May 06, 2026, after an extended illness. He was born in Bacon County on August 29, 1963, to the late Joe Byron Martin and Janice Williams Howell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Brandon Keith Martin and Kolby Bryce Martin; brother, Todd Martin; nephew, Jason Lewis; and special aunt, Anglee Little.

He was a member of Bell Street Church of God. He was a retired dump truck driver for the City of Hazlehurst.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sheila Mullis Martin; his son, Bobby Joe Martin of Hazlehurst; brothers, Danny Woods (Pam) of Uvalda and Michael Meeks of Douglas, Tony Leggett of Jacksonville, FL and Timmy Mullis (Kay) of Hazlehurst; sisters, Dawn Turner (John), Diane Thompson, both of Alma, Kathy Hess (Larry) of Hawthorne, FL, and Genie Carther of Nicholls, GA; three grandchildren, Josie Martin, Teagan Grover, Addyson Holbrock; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 11, 2026, at 2 PM in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 1 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers include Tony Leggett, Travis Toler, Timmy Mullis, Samuel Jackson, John Turner, William Craven, and Nicholas Coarse. Honorary pallbearers include the staff of Coastal Hospice.
