Marty Franklin Wade, age 62, of Alma passed away March 8, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Bacon County on September 10, 1959 to Virgil Franklin Wade and Frances Rigby Wade. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Pam Dixon Wade and grandson, Daniel Joe Merritt.

Survivors include his daughter, Paige Wade; grandson, Timothy Joe Merritt; brother, Marshall Wade (Nina) and sister, Mary Winn (Jasper).

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until funeral time. Interment will follow in Corinth Church Cemetery.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
