Mary Frances Carter (Puddin) Craigo, age 89, of Alma passed away at Harbor View of Blackshear, Ga. on Sunday, August 2 ^nd 2020 after an extended illness. She was born on June 19 ^th , 1931 in Julian, North Carolina, but has lived in Bacon County the majority of her life. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Irene Carter, and husbands, Delmas Carter and Leonard Craigo.

Mrs. Mary Carter-Craigo  was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary of Alma, Ten Mile Baptist Church and past member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible, traveling, eating, bingo, flowers, and gardening.

Survived and loved by one son Stephen Ray Carter and wife Earlene, and one daughter Deborah Kay Tanner and husband Mitchell. Grand children include, Mary Kay (Tim) Lacey, James Mitchell (Jami) Tanner, and Amanda (Lionel) Holmes. Great-grand-children include Dalton Ray Carter (Faith), Sarah Kay Jones, Haley Marissa Kay Cothren, Justin Wayne Cothren, Mitchell Alexander Tanner, Mika Xane Tanner, Destiny Sierra Dendy, Serenity Grace Dendy, Kelsey Re'ana Holmes, Tristan Maxwell Holmes. One Great-great grandson Adam Leon Carter and one great-great grand-daughter on the way, Caroline Kimberlisa Carter. Also survived and loved by several nieces, nephews, friends, relatives and special care givers, Pam Carter, Helen Waters, and Suzanna Lovelace.

Pallbearers will be Mark Carter, James Mitchell Tanner, Dalton Ray Carter, Jeffery Carter, T. Boy Carter, Jamie Dixon, and Kereth Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be, Ten Mile Baptist Church, VFW Women's Auxiliary, Mary Jordan and all friends and family in attendance.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday 6 ^th , 2020 at 10:00 AM at Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jason Hayes, Bro. Joe Lee, Bro. Jimmy Thrift, officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
