Obituary
Mary Marlene Eason, age 72, of Alma passed away Monday, January 27th at Baptist Village after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Winnie Wendell Carter and Lorene Aldridge Carter.
Survivors include a son, Lyndal Stevens of Glenville, Ga., two daughters, Lynette Bass (Jason) of Baxley and Pam West (Ira) of Monticello, FL., one brother, Lanny Carter (Jennifer) of Alma, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 30th at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Alderman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mershon Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until funeral time.
Active pallbearers will be; Jason Bass, Ira West, Lanny Carter, Jr., Dalton Carter, Stan White and Dominque Baladez.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
