Mary Jeanette Johnson, age 83, of Alma passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Dan McLemore and Linnie Streat McLemore. Mary was preceded in death by her husband James Boyd " J.B. Johnson and a brother Billy McLemore.

Survivors include two children, James Johnson and Latrell McCook (Bobby) of Alma, a brother Tony McLemore (Charlene) of Waycross, two sisters, Bonnie Carter (Noah) and Judy Williams (James Earl) of Alma, four grandchildren, Kim Davis, Kelly Anderson, Shane Johnson and Nicole Tomberlin of Alma; also 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren survive.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday, March 25th from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM. A graveside will follow at 12:00 PM at Pine Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Noah Carter officiating.
