Mary Jordan age 87, of Alma passed away on January 13, 2021 at Baptist Village after an extended illness.

Mrs. Mary was born in Coffee County on June 8, 1933 but had lived most of her life in Alma. She was daughter of the late Malcolm F. Meeks and Lala Miles Meeks and preceded in death by her husband, William Hinson Jordan and two brothers, Jimmy Meeks and Frank Meeks.  She was a member of Friendship Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children Melanie Music (Eddie), Karen Boatright (Teddy), Bill Jordan (Sonja) and Edward Jordan (Claudia) all of Alma, three grandchildren, Chris Music (Lindsey), Brock Bennett (Danielle) and Rachel Jordan Rigdon, four great-grandchildren, Hinson & Rigdon Music, Silas Rigdon and Lena Bennett and a special friend, Roy Hernandez.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2:00 at Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Edmund Thrift and Rev. Stanley Garland officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the cemetery from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Mask and social distancing will be required.

Active pallbearers will be; Kevin Allen, T-Boy Carter, Keith Taylor, J. R. Miles, Jody and Jimmy Miles. Honorary pallbearers will be; Members of Friendship Methodist Church, Members of Ten Mile Baptist Church and all others in attendance.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
