Mary Lou "Cuby" Rewis, age 90, of Alma passed away at her residence on Friday, September 8, 2017 after a short illness. She was born on November 26, 1926 in Appling County to the late Ward Leggett and Annie Bell Milikin. Her husband Roscoe Rewis, her son, Johnny Boatright and two brothers, George Leggett and Eugene Leggett preceded her in death. She was a member of New Vision Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Boatright (Linda) and Ronnie Boatright (Marie) of Alma, three stepchildren, David Rewis of St. Louis, MO., Ricky Rewis (Phyllis) of Texas and Wanda Treatch (Gary) of Warsaw, IL., one sister, Ann Baxley of Jacksonville, FL., 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 13 ^th at 11:00 AM at New Vision Church with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Denny Waters officiating. A eulogy will be given by Joe Boatright. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Tyler Boatright, Dalton Boatright, Landon Wood, Hunter Toler, Dylan Deen, Austin Whitaker, Riley Hilton and Daniel Johnson. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
