Mary Diane Nail, age 76, of Alma passed away suddenly February 8, 2024 at her residence. She was born May 31, 1947, in Bacon County to the late Claude Waters and Hattie Mullis Waters. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James E. Nail; brothers, Jack Waters, Buck Waters and Robert Waters; sisters, Arlene Napier, Maxine Davis, Jenelle Taylor and Claudine North.

Survivors include two children, Shane Nail (Candace) and Deena Bennett (Jeff); six grandchildren, Jameson Bennett, Emalee Ritchie, Brooke, Summer and Landon Nail and Kaleb Williams; two great-grandchildren, Kandon Pina and Kyree Mobley; special niece, Tina Thompson and a special friend, Isaiah Robinson Thomas.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday February 12, 2024 from 6 to 8 PM.

A private graveside will be held at a late date.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
