Mary Marie Steed, age 60, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Bacon County on April 28, 1959.

Marie is survived by her parents, Albert Linton Spell and Audrey Faye Rewis Spell of Alma, GA., daughter, Misty Jacobs (Derek) of Hazlehurst, GA., brothers, Stevie Linton Spell, Danny G. Spell (Diane) and Curtis Albert "Pete" Spell all of Alma, sisters, Lisa Ann Nipper (Bobby) of Blackshear, GA. and Sherry Spell of Alma, GA. and grandchildren, Brian Gant Vining, Daniel Gabe Vining and Zaiden Vining.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Jimbo Steed officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Gabe and Gant Vining, Eldon Gurley, Sydney Spell, Jon Spell and Mark McCarty. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
