Merry Colleen Adams, age 78, passed away July 01, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born in Bacon County to the late Jessie Thompson and Clyo Taylor Thompson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Seward Adams, Jr; two sisters, Murial Martin and Cynthia Sharpe.

She is survived by two daughters, Shari Tallent and Donna Dennison, both of Alma; four grandchildren, Michael Tallent, Davie Martinez, Christopher Martinez, and Victoria Roberson; six great-grandchildren, Josephine Roberson, Nathan Roberson, Vanessa Marie Marcos, Damian Martinez, Micheal Tallent, Jr., and Hunter William Tallent; one brother, Phelan Thompson, of Alma; two sisters, Jan Allen of Blackshear and Vivian Stallings of Alma.
