Michael Wade Anderson, age 71, of Alma passed away February 21, 2025 after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Daniel Sidney (D.S.) Anderson, Sr and Emily Aleene Nettles Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel Sidney Anderson, Jr., Cecil Anderson and Victor Anderson, special nieces and nephew Kiley Music ,Ashley Rigdon and Brian Whitfield.

Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Jones (Derek ) of Alma; three brothers, Charles Anderson, (Rita) of St Cloud, Fl, Darryl Anderson, (Betty) of Baxley and Terry Anderson (Theressa) of Alma; three sisters, Erma Taylor, Deleen Rigdon, (Donnie Joe), and  Karen Stevens, (Richard) of Alma; sister-in law, Nancy Anderson of Satellite Beach, FL, three grandchildren, Kody Anderson (Shaundora), Jakaelie Batten and Takeelie (Demarcus ) Barnes  and nine great-grandchildren, Kaleia Barnes, Makayla Thomas, Nytasia Chancey, Natevya Chancey, Kaiden Barnes, Mariah Anderson, Amir Smith, Maleigha Anderson and King Barton and special caregiver, Alberta "Bertha" H. Cole.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the chapel at Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Joe Rigdon officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 10:00 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Kody Anderson, Richard Stevens, Charles Anderson, Darryl Anderson, Terry Anderson, King Barton and Kaiden Barnes. Parkers employees and all others in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.
