Michael "Mickey" Dixon, age 77, of Alma passed away on January 28, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. Born in Bacon County on December 22, 1944. He was son of the late Mason P. Dixon and Eris Peacock Dixon.

Mickey served in the US Navy; was owner and operator of Mason Dixon Jewelers for many years and was a member of New Vision Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Alice Crosby Dixon; daughters, Amy Gilliard (Jason) and Angie Cox; three grandchildren, Hannah Nobles (Kellen), Grant Gilliard (Lauren) and Mattie Cox four great-grandchildren, Kate, Drake and Kooper Nobles and Kash Gilliard and first cousin, Phillip Peacock (Sandy).

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at New Vision Church.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
