Michael "Chad" Nipper, age 36, passed away suddenly April 08, 2025. He is the son of Angel Nipper Meeks and Lee Meeks of Nicholls, GA. He is preceded in death by his father, Mike Jones and sister, Taylor Fitchett.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Michael Nipper, Jr. and Noah Harrell, both of Nicholls; one daughter, Maelee Nipper of Alma; five brothers, Shane Nipper (Jess) of Nicholls, Brody Fitchett (Carrie) of Nicholls, Jacob Carver (Alexis) of Nicholls, Jared Hamilton (Aubrey) of Tifton, GA, and Christian Jones of Waycross, GA; three sisters, Ashley Sallet (Hooper) of Alma, Amy Morgan (Wade) of Alma, and Santana Chauncey (Matthew) of Waycross; and his maternal grandmother, Gail Nipper. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was a lineman with Pike Electric.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 2 PM in the chapel at Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow at Wolfpit Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 at the funeral home from 6-8 PM.

Active pallbearers include Adam Kight, Shannon Johnson, David Hutchison, Austin Benson, Chastin Googe, and Ian West.

Honorary pallbearers include Pike employees.
