Michael A. Roppe, age 53, of Alma passed away suddenly at his residence March 1, 2022. Born in Bacon County on January 15, 1969. His sister, Teresa Roppe Lott, preceded him in death. He was a member of Alma Church of God.

Survivors include by his wife, Wendy Miles Roppe; daughter, Steelie Roppe; parents, Jimmy and Carolyn Roppe; brother, Chris Roppe (Shelly); special family, Terri Miles, Jerry Miles and Robin Back and nieces and nephews, Keaton Roppe (Sarah), Jarret Gurley, Sydney Kate Roppe, Bailey Miles and Bryce Back.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Alma Church of God with Pastor Travis Peavy and Jonathan Smith officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 12:00 PM until funeral time. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be; Keaton Roppe, Jarett Gurley, Jerry Miles, Jacob Alitarawneh, Bruce Cothern, Austin Yarborough and Steven Roppe. Honorary pallbearers will be; Wednesday Night Connect Class and the Go Kart Racing Family.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
