Michelle Turner, age 53, of Alma passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida after a short illness. She was born in Bacon County on February 8, 1968 to Charles Junior "Buddy Medders and Eppelene Peacock Medders; besides her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Cathy Medders, Karen Lisa Medders and Vickie Stanley.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Turner; six children, James Turner and Jack Turner of Alma, Taylor Turner of Ohio, Nichelle Morgan (Kyle), Kiera Rigdon (Tristin) and C. J. Turner all of Alma; four brothers, Robert Medders (Charlene), Mark Medders (Belinda), Charles Medders and Michael Medders (Denise) all of Alma; six grandchildren, Addie, Aaron and Kensly Morgan, Annabelle, Jace and Kody Rigdon; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Eight Street Church of God of Prophecy at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lynn Music officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church Saturday from 12:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Mark Medders, Michael Medders, Kyle Morgan, Tristin Rigdon, Kiera Rigdon, Nichelle Morgan, James Turner and Jack Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be; Mandy Boatright, Diversified Resources in Waycross and the Staff of Bacon County Hospital.

Mask and social distancing will be required.
