Mitchell "Mickey" Linley Wilcox, age 57, of Alma passed away suddenly at his residence. He was born in Bacon County on April 29, 1961. His parents, Dorman Monroe Wilcox and Rena Faye Abercrombie Wilcox preceded him in death. Mickey was a member of Alma United Methodist Church and was a Blueberry Farmer.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Linda Wyatt Wilcox, two children, Mitchell David Wilcox and Summer Lin Wilcox of Alma and a grandson, Ethan Wilcox.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9 ^th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Hartsfield officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Monday from 12:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Mitchell Wilcox, Greg Davis, Ben Johnson, Victor Sian, Bernie Gager and Burt Cothren, Clyde Gruber, and Andrew Newberry. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
