Mitchell Wright Story, age 64 of Baxley, passed away at on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Appling Healtcare System after a short illness.. Story was born in Alma, Georgia on August 31, 1953 to the late Joshua Story and Annie Carlene Mercer Westberry. His sister Vickie Ann Story Howell and a niece Pamela Howell preceded him in death.

Story is survived by three children, Mitchell Lee Story (Christina Gunter) of Vidalia, GA., Amy Story, of Baxley, GA., Lisa Wasson (Fred), of Ocala, FL., two brothers,Joshua Stephen Story of Alma, GA. and Kenneth Carl Story, of Albany, NY., a sister, Susan Carlene Story, of Alma, GA.; also 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at Crosby Funeral Home on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Crosby Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be; Mitchell Story, Stephen Story and Juan Resendiz. All others in attendance will considered honorary escorts.
