Neil White, Sr., age 82, of Alma passed away suddenly Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Bacon County Hospital. Born in Bacon County on November 27, 1938 to Stanford White and Luna Wade White. He served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Thomas White and two brothers, Jimmy and Foster White. Survivors include two children, Neil White, Jr (Janet) and Nancy Altman (Brian); two brothers, Ruby White (Gale) and Ray White (Patricia); one sister, Eloise Tanner all of Alma; five grandchildren, Paige Howell (fiancé Dylan Tillman), Nathan, Aiden and Emma White and Karlie King (Daron); two great-grandchildren, Jaydalen and Karlin King and two sister-in-laws, Maureen White of Alma and Betty Bazemore of Savannah.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Corinth Church from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Keith Smith, Lawrence White, Dylan Tillman, Mike White, Curtis White, Andy Wade, Nathan White and Brian Altman. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral will be in charge of arrangements.
