Mrs. Nellie Mincey Nail, age 93, of Baxley passed away November 23,2025 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born August 2, 1932 to Zet Mincey and Reber Kirkland Mincey.

She was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and attended Big Oak Church of God.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil L. Nail, Sr., brothers, Brooks Kirkland, Grady Mincey, Herbert Mincey, J. B. Mincey and Albert Mincey, sisters, Louise Hughes and Rutha Mae Hughes and granddaughter, Pam Hooks. Survivors include four children, Jerry Wayne Nail and Cecil Lewis Nail, Jr. (Adie) of Baxley, Patsy Harrell (Michael Crosby) of Alma and Nellie Sue Sellers (Wilton) of Jesup and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Stone and Pastor Tony Forehand officiating. Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Joey Pierce, Benjie Pierce, Darrell Hughes, Dewey Altman, Tony Nail, Doug Sims and Harrison Bennett. All others in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
