Nina Holton, age 75, of Nicholls passed away at Twin Oaks Nursing Home Sunday, September 8, 2019 after a short illness. She was daughter of the late Mason Lee and Leatha Williams Lee and born on November 29, 1943 in Bacon County. She was preceded in death by her husband F. M. "Sonny" Holton, brother J. Walter Lee, sister-in-law Juanita Boyett Lee and a brother-in-law Larry Harris.  Mrs. Nina managed a convenient store for 23 years and was a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include two children Lee Francis Holton and Patricia Marion Holton of Alma, brother Fitzhugh Lee (Annette McCall) of Seffner, FL., sister Inez Lee Martin (Tommy) of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 11 ^th at 3:00 PM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Delk officiating and eulogy given by Jimmy Lee McCall. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be: John Lee, Danny Mixon, Tony Higginbotham, Hunter Higginbotham, Jerry Mims and Dean Strickland. Honorary pallbearers will be; Sr. Adult Sunday School Class and members of the Class of 1962.
