Nina Youngblood, age 56, of Alma passed away Friday, February 1st at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Summerville, Ga. but had lived in Alma most of her life. Nina was daughter of the late Lenard William Siffles and Betty Jean Wilson Rewis and preceded in death by a step brother, Terry Rewis and a grandson, Matthew Spivey.
Survivors include her fiancé, Jon Sapp of Alma, two sons, Joseph Spivey (Wanda) and Jessie Wayne Youngblood, four brothers, Donnie, Ronnie, Darryl Siffles all of Alma and Tony Siffles of Oklahama, one step brother, Ricky Rewis, two sisters, Lola Tanner of Valdosta and Debbie Shelton of Alma, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5th at 2:00 PM at Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery on Hwy 203 with Jason Hutto officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; Donnie & Ronnie Siffles, Jimmy Spivey, Anthony & Jimbo Collins and Ricky Rewis. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
