Norma Jean Miles, age 82, of Baxley passed away February 20, 2023 at her residence after a short illness. She was born and raised in Appling County, was daughter of the late Elbert Creamer and Louise Mullis Creamer. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ima Earl Miles, son, Phillip Ellas Harper, sister, Eloise Conner and sister-in-law, Bobbie Creamer.

Mrs. Norma was a homemaker and lifelong member of Miles Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include two children, David Earl Miles and Pam Crapps (Donnie) both of Baxley, five brothers, Don Creamer and Johnny Creamer (Carolyn) of Hazlehurst, Roger Creamer (Betty) of Uvalda, Kenny Creamer (Marie) of New Branch and Danny Creamer (Candy) of Lyons; two sisters, Judy Hutcheson (Jimmy) of New Branch and Deborah Edenfield (Dean of Metter; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Miles Chapel Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Doug Wiesel officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday at the church from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Hunter Yawn, Eric Harper, David Miles, Jr., Josh Spivey, Bryce Spivey and Chad Crapps. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
