Orie Yawn Johnson, age 98, passed away on 1st day of February, 2025, at Pruitt Healthcare, Brunswick, GA. She was born on December 3, 1926, Douglas, Georgia, to Simon Wesley and Elvie Yawn She spent her life loving Jesus and her family. She attended Tenth Street Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar Johnson, her son Larry Dewayne (P-Nut) Johnson, grandson, Larry Dewayne Johnson and great grandson, Chance Lamar Wood.

Her survivors are her daughter, Delama Wilis (Gene), Brunswick, Georgia; grandchildren: Marty Brigman, Jacksonville, Florida; Angel Sharpe (Sam) of Pooler, Georgia; Regina Wood, Alma, Georgia; five great grandchildren, Sloan Brigman, Brunswick, Georgia; Wil Sharpe, Pooler, Georgia; Ty Sharpe, Charleston, South Carolina; Garrett and Abbie Wood of Alma, Georgia. One sister, Peggy Altman, Hazlehurst, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Friday , 02/07/2025 at 2:00 PM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Alma, Ga.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
