Orin Phillip "Phil" Bennett, age 83, of Mershon passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, February 3, 2018. He was born in Pierce County on October 28, 1934 to the late Randall Bennett and Mary Hyers Bennett. Four brothers, Eldred, A. J., R. E., and Edward Bennett and two sisters, Madese Davis and Wana Lee Carnes preceded him in death.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife of sixty years, Shirley Bennett, two sons, Orin Bennett, Jr. (Sarah) and Phillip Nathaniel Bennett (Jessica), a sister, Rebecca Wagner all of Mershon; also 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 3 ^rd at 4:30 at Mershon Cemetery with Rev. Milton Bethune officiating.
