Oscar Mitchell (Tom) Moore, age 95 of Decatur died at The Regency House in Decatur Wednesday November 26th , 2014 after an extended illness. He was a native of Douglas, GA but had been living in Decatur the past two years. Tom was son of the late Mitchell Griffin Moore and Mattie Lou Flanders Moore. He was a member of the Douglas United Methodist Church, retired from the Georgia Florida Railroad and was a veteran of WW II.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years Sara Lou Parosns Moore of Decatur, a son Joseph Parsons Moore of Gillsvile, GA, a daughter, Dr. Janet Sue Moore of Decatur, GA, two sisters, Emma Lee Stovall of Marietta, GA and Mildred Elder of Douglas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning November 29th, at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Crosby officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10:00 A M till funeral time at 11:00 o'clock
