Pamela Janice Baldwin, age 70, passed away at Bacon County Hospital November 09, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born in Bacon County to the late Quitman Boatright and Margurite Padgett Boatright. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Danny Boatright and her sister, Jeanine Lamb.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alma for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, James Baldwin; daughter, Jamie Lynn Waters of Waycross; granddaughters, Lacie Jolene Waters and Casey Jolynn Waters; sister, Margaret Joan Herrington (G.C.) of Hazlehurst; sister-in-law, Judy Boatright; and brother-in-law, Del Lamb.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2 P.M. at Alma First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. David Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers include Grayson Beasley, Caleb Beasley, Eric Baldwin, Mitch Herrington, Daniel Bo Boatright, Rosco Smith, Ricky Gilliard, and Len Spires.

Honorary pallbearers include the Bearean Adult Sunday School Class and all others in attendance.
