Patricia Ann Nipper Bazemore, age 71, of Alma passed away August 24, 2024 after a short illness. She was born December 31, 1952 in Bacon County to Frank and Dorthy Harris Nipper. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two children, Ricky Bazemore and Denise Bazemore Cribb, brothers, Jr Nipper and Bobby Nipper, sisters, Gloria Nipper, Shirley Nipper Chancey, Patsy Nipper Ruis, Illa Jean Nipper Taylor and Nell Nipper Morrison.

Mrs. Bazemore was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Danny Bazemore, daughter, Peggy Bazemore Cravey (Chris), grandchildren, Carlee Cravey Sullivan (Lance), Kinsley Cravey, Morgan Potts Cribb (Trey) and Maci Potts Drew (Austin) and Chase Cravey, great grandchildren, Hazel and Vera Cribb and Dallen Drew, brothers, James Nipper and Ronnie Nipper (Cheryl), special niece, Joyce Medders and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Miles officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1:00 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Michael Ruis, Robbie Ruis, Tony Nipper, Mark Nipper, David Trowell and Mike Morrison. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
