Patricia "Miss Pat" L. Taylor, age 85, of Alma passed away December 30, 2024 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after a short illness. She was born March 11, 1939 in Bacon County to George Washington Rogers and Betty Lou Hutto Rogers. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Will Turner; brothers, Wilburn Rogers and Bobby Rogers and sisters, Lunette Shipes and Wilma Cravey Hancock

Miss Pat was a lifelong member of New Vision Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include two children, Kim Carter (Danny) and Todd (Liv) Taylor; grandchildren, Nicholas Taylor (Jillian), Nathan Taylor (Priscilla), Benjamin Taylor, Wes Carter, Will (Kim) Carter and Ashley Batton; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Chase Carter, Lukas Taylor and Amar'e Ryals; and brother, Jimmy Rogers (Cindy).

Funeral services will be held January 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Pet Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in New Vision Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Wes Carter, Will Carter, Tyler Bell, Chad Rogers and Bobby Taylor. Twin Oaks Nursing Home will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
